International Children's Day is celebrated on 20^th November, and was established by the United Nations (UN) and has been celebrated worldwide since 1989.

As part of the project "Improving the Efficiency of Courts and Accountability of Judges and Prosecutors in Bosnia and Herzegovina", implemented by the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an illustrated publication entitled "My Guide to Criminal Process" was produced. The publication is intended for child victims/witnesses of criminal offenses, aged 12 to 18, as well as their parents/guardians, with the aim of acquainting this vulnerable group with their rights during the initiation and duration of criminal proceedings.
